During the pandemic, MindLeaps has moved towards digital learning in order to be able to continue serving our kids and youth trainers during this time where we cannot meet in person for dance classes. We have started our Virtual Academy in Rwanda, Uganda, North Macedonia, and Guinea. We will now be launching it in Mauritania and are hoping to translate our curricula from English into Arabic in order to launch there. Volunteers will help with translating a variety of curricula from English to Arabic in subject areas such as Business Entrepreneurship, Project Management/ Budgeting, and Child Development.

Mission Statement

We help street children develop their mental skills through a specific dance pedagogy. Then, we equip them with the vocational skills to leap forward in life. Hence, MindLeaps!

MindLeaps creates educational programs for street children and out-of-school youth in post-conflict and developing countries. MindLeaps uses a kinesthetic-based curriculum to improve the cognitive skills of youth to ensure they can go to school, enter the workplace and leap forward in life.
