A significant scale cannabis farm with hundreds of plants has been uncovered at a mill in Rossendale.
The discovery was produced by an off-duty police officer at the Isle of Man Mill on Burnley Road East in Water.
Officers identified a lot more than 700 plants spread across two floors immediately after gaining entry to the creating yesterday afternoon (September 1).
The electrical energy meter is understood to have been bypassed.
Lancashire Police stated it was a ‘large scale cannabis set up’ and is in the procedure of becoming dismantled.
No arrests have been produced.
B&E Boys, who are understood to personal the creating, had been unavailable for comment when contacted by LancsLive.
A police spokesperson stated: “An off-duty police officer came across the cannabis set up on Burnley Road East at 12.50pm yesterday.
“It is a significant scale cannabis set-up with more than 700 plants.
“No arrests have been produced and enquiries are ongoing.”
