Loveland Residents Can Attend Computer Classes Online for Free

Learning technology is easier and more accessible than ever with the Virtual Classroom at Loveland Public Library.

In partnership with Digital Workshop Center, a Colorado technology school, the Loveland Public Library is able to offer several technology classes for free.

Whether you are searching for your next job or simply wanting to improve your technology skills, the Virtual Classroom provides everything you need to know as you browse and enroll in your next class. Loveland residents are able to take a dozen classes from the comfort of their own home.

All virtual/online classes are held via Zoom, a free video-conferencing software that is used through your internet browser. Students can chat with the instructor using audio and video or communicate with the instructor and other students by typing in the chatbox.

Classes include Android Smartphones, Excel, Facebook, Google Apps, Google Hangout, Duo, and Meet, iPhone, PowerPoint, Search Engine Optimization for Business, Social Media for Beginners, Social Media for Business, Word, and WordPress.

Let the library and Google help you develop the technology skills and software expertise you need to land your next job or get ahead in school! Each participant will be matched with a librarian to help get started. Participants who complete the Applied Digital Skills program will have their Google certification paid for by the library.
