Police bust £400k cannabis factory as one person arrested

Cannabis plants worth up to £400,000 have been seized after a drugs raid in Bilston.

West Midlands Police officers executed a warrant at an address in High Street on Saturday (November 21) and found a cannabis farm with roughly 400 plants.

The force added that one person was arrested after the shocking discovery.

A police spokesperson said: “Our team, led by PC 27290 Lowe, conducted a warrant at an address in High St, Bilston.

“Approximately 400 cannabis plants seized and one arrested.”

In other police news, video footage has captured the moment sick thieves stole an urn during a ram raid at a Pensnett funeral directors.

A grey Volvo V40 on false plates rammed through the shutters of the property in High Oak shortly before midnight on Tuesday, November 17.

The CCTV footage shows the suspects loading the car up with stolen items before fleeing into the night.

Dudley Police has said the suspects stole a small red pouch for jewellery and a small urn during the ram raid.
