Family Video closing stores, holding liquidation sales

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – It’s an end of a home video era as one of the last video rental chains closes up its brick-and-mortar stores.

Family Video is closing stores on Military Ave in Green Bay, Glendale Ave in Howard, and S. Webster Ave in Green Bay.

“We are very thankful to have been able to provide entertainment for many family movie nights, and want to thank the people of Green Bay and our incredible staff for the many years of support and service.”, says Keith Hoogland, CEO, Highland Ventures, LTD.

Liquidation sales are underway. The stores are selling movies, games, CBD products and store fixtures. They’re going at closeout prices.

The stores will close when inventory is sold.

The buildings will be put up for lease or purchase. People should contact Doug Seefeldt for more information at [email protected]

Family Video will close its remaining 250 stores on Jan. 6.
